SOFO Culinary Festival August 2015
San Juan’s culinary talent are bringing it to the streets this weekend for the bi-annual SOFO culinary festival. This gastronomic extravaganza emanates a block party vibe as the streets ‘South of Fortaleza’ are pedestrianized to make way for fine food, music, and revelry.
SOFO 2015 will take place from August 19 – 23 and will include fare from over 40 different restaurants and vendors. Spread out over 5 evenings and 5 streets within the walls of this 500 year old city, thousands of visitors will partake in the festivities. Small plates and nibbles will allow diners to sample an array of different restaurants at lower price points than usual. Visitors should be sure to factor in travel time and traffic when making a plan for the evening, as the streets will be packed!
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
Wednesday and Thursday from 6PM – 11PM
Friday and Saturday 6PM – 12AM
Sunday 4PM – 10PM
